1. PAX Coffee and Goods

PAX is one of the most popular coffee places in the area, serving a wide selection of delicious hot coffee, cold-brew coffee, and made-to-order specialty drinks. But it's their signature drinks that have customers clambering for more, particularly “The Kerrvillian,” and our personal favorite, “The Twix,” which combines genuine Twix candy, caramel drizzle, espresso, steamed milk, and chocolate. It's fantastic!

If you're hungry, PAX has all sorts of grilled sandwiches and paninis to satisfy your appetite. Each one is stuffed with fresh meats, cheeses, and veggies and heated until the inside oozes with awesomeness. If you stop in, you've got to try the Chicken Fresca or the Caprese sandwich – they're both incredible. When it's time for dessert, it doesn't get any better than their uber-fresh, locally sourced pastries.

2. Carrot Patch Cafe

The Carrot Patch Cafe has a dedicated customer base, and we believe that serving steaming mugs full of some of the best coffee around has something to do with that. And although they don't offer many specialty drinks, they make up for it by serving high-quality products. Aside from the coffee, customers swear by their ever-popular vegan smoothie.

The Patch takes pride in promoting healthy eating, and their scratch-made sandwiches and burgers fit the bill. Customers can order everything from buffalo burgers and club sandwiches to tuna salad paninis and vegan burgers, and they get rave reviews. Our favorite is the California Grilled Chicken Sandwich – it'll have your taste buds shouting with joy.

3. The Bubble Tea Factory

True to its name, The Bubble Tea Factory has an enormous selection of bubble teas, and we haven't had one yet that wasn't terrific. If you're a first-timer, go for the Taro Milk Tea or the Royal Milk Tea; you won't regret it. Of course, tea may be their “special-tea,” but their coffee is phenomenal too! So don't let the name fool you because their coffee and espresso drinks can stand all on their own.

The Bubble Tea Factory has a menu with some unique snacks, such as tapioca hearts, and more common desserts like Superman ice cream for the kids. Okay, maybe for the adults too! The atmosphere is light-hearted, and the staff is friendly and helpful. You'll want to take the entire family to this place, and with your spacious GMC Sierra 1500, you should have plenty of room for everyone.

Kerrville has several top-notch coffee spots, and these are just a few of our favorites. The next time you go out for a cup of joe, swing by Crenwelge GMC and have a look at our amazing inventory of new and used vehicles.
